Responsible Drinking; Tips for you this weekend

Responsible alcohol consumption is a lifestyle that is adopted from the way you interact with the different legitimate alcoholic brands on our Ugandan market and how you relate to us as an organization committed to fostering the behaviour among the people of our country.

You will notice that on every product from any of our members that is in the market, from your most memorable spirit to your favorite beer, there is a call for you to drink responsibly always and another clarion call for members in our value chain not to sell alcohol to children aged 18 and below.

There are also visual images warning against alcohol among expecting mothers, drivers among others which is really our responsibility as an association to spread these messages and sensitize all our people to avoid any negative effects that may come with over consumption of alcohol.

When you drink a lot of alcohol, there are always questions around how your body may respond to large volumes of alcohol that if not taken care of may affect you in the long run.

As such, we advise you to, at all times;
– Eat something before you start drinking.
– Space your alcohol with water or soft drinks.
– Avoid driving after a night out. To consider getting a cab home or using a designated driver that hasn’t been drinking alcohol

With these considerations in your drinking habits, your interaction with alcohol will be harmless and you’ll be a practical positive drinking champion for us all.
